I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at New York University - Abu Dhabi.

I conduct field experiments, collect original data and use statistics to learn about governance, displacement and service delivery in areas where the state is weak. ​​My work takes place in Congo, Sierra Leone and Kenya. 

In 2015, ​I received my Ph.D. from Columbia University. I also have an M.Phil. in economics (with distinction) from Tilburg University.
